Federal Police Department Deggendorf | Address & Training

The Federal Police Department Deggendorf is one of the locations that seekers often have very specific questions about: Where is the office located? How do you get there? Are there parking spaces? What training is possible? And how can the location be categorized visually or based on reviews? This overview is precisely intended for that purpose. Deggendorf is not only an authority location at Ulrichsberger Straße 1-13 but also part of the Federal Riot Police. Official job postings from the Federal Police mention the service location as well as the location map of the Federal Police portal; they make it clear that administrative, training, and service tasks converge here. Additionally, the location was opened to the public in 2026, enhancing the perception of the place beyond mere administrative operations. Therefore, anyone searching for Federal Police Deggendorf, address, photos, or training is actually looking for a location profile with practical relevance, historical depth, and a clear public presence. Address, Directions, and Parking at the Federal Police Department Deggendorf

The secured core address is Ulrichsberger Straße 1-13, 94469 Deggendorf. This address appears in official Federal Police job postings for Deggendorf, for example, for medical assistants, cooks, and administrative positions. In a public industry listing, the phone number 0991/2070 is also noted; the Federal Police itself mentions the contact 0991/207-3007 in a job advertisement. For the search intent Federal Police Deggendorf address, this is the most important anchor: The location is clearly named, officially located, and connected with service or contact persons. ([komm-zur-bundespolizei.de](https://www.komm-zur-bundespolizei.de/verstaerkung/job/5ea999e6c9dfd74dfccfdbba61b4dd5e?utm_source=openai))

For visitors, it is important that access is explicitly regulated on special occasions. On the Open House Day on July 5, 2026, free parking was provided at the Volksfestplatz Ackerloh and at the Robert-Koch-Gymnasium; additionally, a free shuttle bus operated between 09:45 and 18:15 to the event area. This is a typical example of how the location handles public interest: not as a classic excursion destination with continuous operation, but through clearly organized visiting windows and reliable logistics. Therefore, anyone planning a visit should always check if there is an official date, an entry regulation, or special parking areas. ([deggendorf.de](https://www.deggendorf.de/veranstaltungen/event/tag-der-offenen-tuer-im-bundespolizeistandort-deggendorf-juli-2026))

Language also reflects the search behavior: Many users only enter Federal Police Deggendorf and mean the address, access, location in the city, and the question of whether one can even visit publicly. That is why it makes sense to always read the address together with the context. For daily operations, it is about an authority address; for events, it is about parking, shuttles, access, and security. The location is therefore not a place for spontaneous visits like a museum, but an authority and operational site that is made very structured accessible during public formats. ([komm-zur-bundespolizei.de](https://www.komm-zur-bundespolizei.de/verstaerkung/job/28eced36d7d1464b2de09c5f0d358190?utm_source=openai))

Training and Career at the Federal Police in Deggendorf

The keyword training is no coincidence in Deggendorf. Official Federal Police job postings confirm that the location not only handles police operations but also training and service professions. For Deggendorf, training positions for medical assistants and cooks have been advertised, among others. Additionally, the Federal Police is looking for administrative staff in Deggendorf who will take on tasks in personnel, budget, construction and property, contract, and training matters. This shows that the location is professionally broader than many seekers initially assume. ([komm-zur-bundespolizei.de](https://www.komm-zur-bundespolizei.de/verstaerkung/job/5ea999e6c9dfd74dfccfdbba61b4dd5e?utm_source=openai))

Those searching for Federal Police Deggendorf training often first think of the police enforcement service. Nationwide, the Federal Police will again hire police master candidates for the medium police enforcement service in 2026. The official documents mention classic requirements, such as swimming badges, basic fitness, health suitability, and suitability for the demanding police enforcement service. This is relevant for Deggendorf because the location is integrated into the Federal Riot Police, and career interested individuals can experience a real connection to the profession here. Training here means not only courses but also practical proximity to a work environment with operational units, administration, and service. ([bundespolizei.de](https://bundespolizei.de/fileadmin/user_upload/Downloads/Aktuelles/250130_03_BPOLP_%C3%96A_Einstellung_mD.pdf?utm_source=openai))

An additional career hint comes from local reporting: The current president of the Federal Riot Police Directorate, Dr. Frank Niechziol, completed his training in the medium police enforcement service in Deggendorf 34 years ago and visited the location in 2024 as president. This underscores that Deggendorf is visibly anchored in the career history of the Federal Police. Therefore, anyone searching for careers, training, or entry opportunities will find in Deggendorf not only a place for current job postings but also a location with real continuity in personnel development. ([pnp.de](https://www.pnp.de/lokales/landkreis-deggendorf/neuer-praesident-der-bundesbereitschaftspolizei-besucht-die-deggendorfer-abteilung-15997356?utm_source=openai))

Photos, Reviews, and the First Impression of the Location

According to the provided location data, the rating is 4.1 stars from 25 reviews. For seekers entering Federal Police Department Deggendorf reviews, this is usually an indication that they want to get a sense of reliability, appearance, and public perception. In an authority like the Federal Police, reviews play a different role than in a restaurant or hotel, yet they shape the first digital impression. A solid rating can therefore be interpreted as a sign that the location is present and well-known in its local environment. This does not replace official information but helps with orientation.

On the other hand, those searching for photos usually want to see how large the location appears, how the area is organized, and what vehicles or operational equipment are visible there. Public events provide the best images here. On the city's event page for the Open House Day, an image of the Federal Police location is already included; it also announces special vehicles, police helicopters, drone technology, bomb disposal service, first aid, and training information. Furthermore, Deggendorf is mentioned as the location of a site festival in the Federal Police employee magazine. For the visual search intent, these are valuable points of reference, as they show how the location is perceived from the outside: technical, operational, and at the same time oriented towards the public when it opens up. ([deggendorf.de](https://www.deggendorf.de/veranstaltungen/event/tag-der-offenen-tuer-im-bundespolizeistandort-deggendorf-juli-2026))

The most important SEO thought behind this search cluster is simple: Photos and reviews serve not only curiosity but are a substitute for the question How does the place feel? At a Federal Police department, this question is particularly understandable because many people never enter the premises in everyday life. Public images, official event dates, and the visible presence of operational technology make the location tangible. Therefore, anyone looking for a realistic picture should pay more attention to official event insights and serious public reporting rather than random snapshots without context. ([deggendorf.de](https://www.deggendorf.de/veranstaltungen/event/tag-der-offenen-tuer-im-bundespolizeistandort-deggendorf-juli-2026))

Tasks, Units, and Equipment at the Location

The Federal Police Department Deggendorf is part of the Federal Riot Police, whose official tasks include reinforcement for special occasions, support for the state police in special situations, assistance to the Federal Criminal Police Office, and further deployments domestically and abroad. According to the Federal Police, operational units, evidence securing and arrest units, technical operational units, and support units work together for this purpose. The official description also states that operational units typically consist of about 120 police enforcement officers. Exactly in this organizational framework, Deggendorf is a location of operational significance, not just an administrative building. ([bundespolizei.de](https://bundespolizei.de/die-bundespolizei/einsatzkraefte/bundesbereitschaftspolizei?utm_source=openai))

The public demonstration on the Open House Day 2026 makes these tasks particularly vivid. There, a parachute jump by GSG 9, demonstrations by the service dog unit, the evidence and arrest unit BFE+, various operational trainings, special vehicles, police helicopters, and drone technology were announced. Also on the program were bomb disposal service, first aid, as well as training and career information. For seekers, this means: Deggendorf is a location where operational capability, special technology, and training come together. Those wondering what happens there do not get the answer through a single word but through the interplay of training, technology, and operational readiness. ([deggendorf.de](https://www.deggendorf.de/veranstaltungen/event/tag-der-offenen-tuer-im-bundespolizeistandort-deggendorf-juli-2026))

The job postings on-site also confirm the breadth of tasks. A Federal Police administrative position in Deggendorf handles personnel, budget, construction and property, contract, and training matters; at the same time, training positions in the medical and gastronomic fields show that infrastructure and supply are an integral part of the location. Thus, Deggendorf is a typical example of a Federal Police location where operational tasks and internal functional areas do not stand separately side by side but shape everyday life together. For keyword research, this is important because Federal Police Deggendorf does not only search for police but also for organization, career, equipment, and areas of responsibility. ([komm-zur-bundespolizei.de](https://www.komm-zur-bundespolizei.de/verstaerkung/job/5ea999e6c9dfd74dfccfdbba61b4dd5e?utm_source=openai))

History of the Federal Police Department Deggendorf

Deggendorf has been a location of the authority for decades. Local reporting on the 75th anniversary of the Federal Police in Deggendorf emphasizes that the place has been a location of the Federal Police or the former Federal Border Guard from the very beginning. For the year 2026, this means an important anniversary: 75 years of Federal Police in Deggendorf. This historical depth is a strong search signal because people often ask about origins, traditions, and developments at authority locations. Therefore, Deggendorf is not just any address on a map but a location with a grown identity. ([pnp.de](https://www.pnp.de/lokales/landkreis-deggendorf/deggendorfer-bundespolizei-feiert-vier-tage-lang-21025450?utm_source=openai))

Another historical detail comes from regional reporting about the origins of the BGS: After the first Federal Border Guard Act came into force in 1951, 389 men began their service in Deggendorf. This makes the early role of the place very concrete. The location was already one of the defining places in Bavaria in the early years of the Federal Border Guard history. For today's search queries, this is important because the terms Federal Police and Federal Border Guard are historically closely linked in Deggendorf. Therefore, those searching for history will inevitably encounter the early years of the young Federal Republic and a place that has practically supported this development. ([pnp.de](https://www.pnp.de/lokales/landkreis-regen/regener-grenadiere-kehren-zu-ihrem-ursprung-zurueck-15153188?utm_source=openai))

That this historical thread extends to the present day is also shown by the current anniversary planning. For the 75th anniversary, a concert, a festive act, and an open house were planned from July 3 to 5, 2026; about 15,000 visitors were expected in good weather. Such dates make the location publicly visible and give it a face beyond the daily operations of the authority. From an SEO perspective, this is a crucial point: A location with an anniversary, open event, family offerings, and technology presentation generates significantly more search intent than a purely internal service facility. Deggendorf connects history, present, and public visibility in an unusually clear way. ([pnp.de](https://www.pnp.de/lokales/landkreis-deggendorf/deggendorfer-bundespolizei-feiert-vier-tage-lang-21025450?utm_source=openai))

Open House Day and Practical Visitor Information

The Open House Day on July 5, 2026, is the best opportunity for anyone looking for photos, impressions, or a real feel for the location. The event officially ran from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM with free admission. Not only demonstrations and exhibitions were announced on the premises, but also activities for the whole family, such as face painting, bouncy castle, climbing wall, and Bobbycar races. Additionally, there was a live performance of The Jungle Book by the Federal Police Orchestra Munich. This mix of safety, technology, and family program is unusually strong and explains why the location should not be reduced in public perception to a functional building. ([deggendorf.de](https://www.deggendorf.de/veranstaltungen/event/tag-der-offenen-tuer-im-bundespolizeistandort-deggendorf-juli-2026))

For practical planning, the small details are often the most important: The catering was provided by the operational kitchen and cafeteria, payment could only be made in cash on-site, and a free shuttle bus ran from the designated parking areas at the Volksfestplatz Ackerloh and at the Robert-Koch-Gymnasium to the event area. Such information is essential for visitors because it shows that the location is professionally organized during high public attendance. Anyone who wants to experience the Federal Police Department Deggendorf not only digitally but also on-site gets a very clear picture of how publicly accessible formats operate at a security authority. That is why the Open House Day is so valuable for inquiries about photos, directions, and impressions. ([deggendorf.de](https://www.deggendorf.de/veranstaltungen/event/tag-der-offenen-tuer-im-bundespolizeistandort-deggendorf-juli-2026))

Ultimately, Deggendorf is a location that appears in search engines for very different reasons: because of the address, because of training, because of reviews, because of photos, and because of its history. The Federal Police Department is visible in official Federal Police documents, current job postings, and public event reporting; thus, it is simultaneously an authority location, training site, operational site, and public point of contact for special dates. Anyone preparing the page for SEO should reflect this diversity and not try to artificially present the place as an event location. The strength of Deggendorf lies precisely in the fact that the location provides enough factual, historical, and visual material for genuine search intent. I've been working across the street for years and can see the grounds from my office window. The grounds are well-maintained and very clean. They have beautiful trees and even flower beds. Pleasantly quiet neighbors (unless they're practicing for demos, testing vehicle sirens, or one of those impressive helicopters comes by). I always enjoy watching you. You're doing a great job. Keep it up!

I was stopped twice without reason on the highway while passing through to Frankfurt by the Deggendorf police. The first time by a plainclothes unit that I had to follow to a gas station. Then two men in civilian clothes but with guns on their hips approached me, and instead of showing their IDs or answering my question about what they were actually planning, they responded with very inappropriate aggression. I expect more respect from "your friend and helper" when there’s no concrete case of a law violation! The second time wasn’t much more pleasant, this time with a baby in the back seat who was no longer sleeping but crying. Thanks for the harassment, dear police ♥

The building resembles a lost place. It smells musty, the paint is peeling, sometimes the electricity doesn’t work, and Wi-Fi is a foreign word.
