Opening Hours and Admission Prices at elypso Deggendorf

The most frequently asked questions about elypso first revolve around the opening hours, and here the answer is pleasantly clear: the swimming world and sauna world are open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM according to the official website, while the outdoor pool operates seasonally from mid-May to mid-September daily from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Additionally, the house points out special opening hours and maintenance times so that visitors can realistically plan their visit. For 2026, for example, a maintenance period is scheduled from June 8 to July 4, during which the swimming world and sauna world will remain closed. Equally important for planning is the rule that Tuesdays are ladies' sauna days, except during holidays and public holidays. So, anyone looking for the ideal time for a spontaneous family outing or a relaxing sauna day will find a relatively transparent calendar at elypso with clear operating hours and clearly communicated exceptions. ([elypso.de](https://www.elypso.de/infos/preise-zeiten))

The pricing structure is also deliberately differentiated, as the location addresses multiple target groups simultaneously. In the swimming world, there are 1-hour, 3-hour, day, and happy hour rates. Adults pay €5.00, €9.50, €12.50, or €7.50, children €4.00, €7.00, €9.00, or €6.00, reduced rates €4.50, €8.00, €11.00, or €6.50, and families €25.00 or €31.00. In the sauna world, prices are €20.00 for 3 hours, €28.00 for a day ticket, and €17.00 for happy hour for adults; children and reduced rates pay €18.50, €26.50, or €15.50, families €50.00 or €70.00. The outdoor pool costs €4.00 for adults, €2.50 for children, €3.00 reduced, and €10.00 for families; additionally, there are happy hour and seasonal tickets available. It is also important: children under 6 years have free entry. Those visiting the swimming world can access the outdoor pool for free, and sauna guests even receive free access to the swimming world and outdoor pool. Swimming World, Slides, and Family Areas at a Glance

For many visitors, the swimming world is the real reason why they search for elypso. At the center is the wellness lagoon under the large sun dome, whose 36 °C warm water, bubble loungers, waterfall, and pool bar are geared towards relaxed bathing. There is also a 25-meter sports pool with four lanes, of which at least two are permanently available. The multi-pool combines a current channel, numerous jets, floor sprayers, and the house offers free aqua aerobics from Monday to Friday, except during holidays and public holidays. So, those who want to swim sportily will find suitable conditions just like guests who are more looking for peace, warmth, and a long, uncomplicated stay. For the keyword analysis, this combination is crucial: the search queries for swimming pool, swimming world, pools, and family offers are not only answered with one pool at elypso but with a real mix of experience and training. ([elypso.de](https://www.elypso.de/badewelt/becken-attraktionen-badewelt))

The toddler area appears particularly family-friendly. Here there is a water castle with a children's slide, water spouts, floor sprayers, and a pirate cave; additionally, sanitary facilities including a changing room are available. In the outdoor pool, a children's pool with a fountain, water slides, and floor sprayers complements the offer. Additionally, the slides, which are particularly important for those searching for photos and impressions: in the swimming world, there are two indoor slides, the rafting slide with 100 meters and the black hole tube slide with 60 meters, both for ages 8 and up. In summer, these slides are also accessible from the outdoor pool. In the outdoor pool itself, there is also a 7.4-meter wide slide for ages 6 and up, as well as a 50-meter sports pool with 6 lanes. The homepage also reports that the slides are open again, which further emphasizes the experience character of the facility. ([elypso.de](https://www.elypso.de/badewelt/becken-attraktionen-badewelt))

Sauna World, Wellness, and Relaxation at elypso Deggendorf

The sauna world is the second major core theme of the location and explains why elypso is perceived not only as a swimming pool but also as a wellness address. The largest sauna, the Danube Forest Sauna, reflects the location of Deggendorf as a gateway to the Bavarian Forest and combines rustic woods with a view of the sauna garden. The panorama sauna relies on reclaimed wood, indirect lighting, and a wide view into the garden, while the kelosauna offers a traditional, fragrant sauna experience with pine logs from Finland. Additionally, there are earth sauna, aroma room, sanarium, steam bath, natural swimming pond, foot bath, plunge pool, and infrared cabin. The temperatures range from 40 to 100 °C, and the capacity ranges from 2 to 90 people. This makes the sauna world feel not like a single room but like a graduated experience from mild to intense. ([elypso.de](https://www.elypso.de/saunawelt/saunen-attraktionen))

The sauna world is particularly strong where it creates real quality of stay. The natural swimming pond is around 700 square meters and is cleaned without chemicals, but through natural filters made of rock layers and aquatic plants. Wooden walkways, reed belts, and pebble beaches frame the sauna garden. In the steam bath, the house distributes free peeling salt several times a day, and the sanarium offers a milder alternative for guests who find the classic sauna too hot at around 60 °C. The textile sauna is also an important component for beginners and younger visitors, as it facilitates access to the warmth experience. This is complemented by the sauna vitality bar with fresh ingredients and a wide selection of dishes. Those looking for additional massage offers can book through the wellness partner spamedos; the website lists various booking methods and makes it clear that the offers are also available without a visit to the pool or sauna. Directions, Parking, and E-Mobility at Sandnerhofweg

For inquiries such as directions, map, or Sandnerhofweg, the official directions are particularly helpful. Coming from the A92, the route towards Deggendorf leads via exit 27 Plattling-Nord, then left towards Pankofen/Deggendorf-South/Mainkofen, about 3 kilometers straight to the roundabout, and then after 500 meters right into Sandnerhofweg. From the direction of Munich, exit 23 Plattling-Nord is mentioned, also with the turn towards Pankofen/Deggendorf-South/Mainkofen. Those starting from Deggendorf drive over the Danube Bridge towards Fischerdorf, follow the main road for about 4 kilometers, and then turn left into Sandnerhofweg. Public transport is also clearly described: bus line 6144 connects the spa via stops such as Natternberg, Rettenbach, Mainkofen, Pankofen, and Plattling. Additionally, there are call taxi connections, which is particularly relevant for guests without their own car. ([elypso.de](https://www.elypso.de/infos/anfahrt))

In terms of parking, elypso has visibly upgraded in recent updates. The homepage reports new covered parking spaces and 70 additional parking spots, improving everyday usability for families and day visitors. For electric cars, there are 10 charging points with 11 kW available in the parking lot; according to the official e-charging station page, the charging points are designed to be barrier-free and usage works via app or RFID card. Additionally, the website describes a motorhome parking space with four spots in direct proximity to the spa. The parking space is open year-round, costs €8.50 per day, requires a €5.00 deposit for the key, and offers electricity and water for a fee. For campers, this is a real added value, as a swimming or sauna day can be easily combined with an uncomplicated overnight stay. Travelers with motorhomes or electric cars also find a significantly better infrastructure than at many classic leisure pools. Photos, Reviews, and House Rules Visitors Should Know

Those looking for photos usually want to know how strict the rules on site are. Here, elypso is very clear: the use of mobile phones as well as filming and photographing is not allowed in the swimming world and sauna world. This explains why visitors often search for images, impressions, and reviews in advance before they are on site. At the same time, the stay is well thought out organizationally. In the swimming and sauna world, payments are made cashless via a chip bracelet and are only paid upon leaving. Lockers are available in front of the changing rooms, and brought food and drinks may only be consumed in the designated areas. Glass bottles and alcoholic beverages are not permitted. These rules may sound strict, but they ensure a calm and orderly process in everyday life, especially on busy days. ([elypso.de](https://www.elypso.de/startseite/))

There are also important notes for families, groups, and guests with special needs that often resonate in the search intent for reviews. elypso describes itself as a popular excursion destination for bus companies, tour operators, clubs, and private groups; special conditions apply for groups of 10 or more. Birthday children receive free entry on their birthday upon presentation of ID. For people with disabilities, the facility is mostly at ground level, a mobile lift assists entry into the pools, and a reduced rate applies from a degree of disability of 50. If a B is noted in the ID, a companion receives free entry. Strollers and buggies are not permitted in the house but can be parked in the cash area. The included reviews show typically mixed impressions: clean water, relaxed atmosphere, and family-friendly areas are praised, while occasional waiting times and service criticism are mentioned. This mix provides seekers with a realistic picture of what to expect on site. ([elypso.de](https://www.elypso.de/startseite/))

Vouchers, Massage, and Group Offers at elypso

For many visitors, the search does not end with the swimming world and sauna but with additional offers such as vouchers, massage, and group discounts. elypso offers value vouchers that can be redeemed for all services in the house. They are valid for three years and available online or at the cash register. Additionally, massage appointments can be booked via the wellness partner spamedos according to the homepage. Free appointments can be found and reserved through the massage calendar; other booking options include the cash register, gastronomy, or directly in the massage area. The official site also states that massages can be booked without a visit to the pool or sauna. This is interesting for guests who specifically seek relaxation without planning an entire day at the pool. For this reason, search queries related to tickets, vouchers, and wellness fit so well with this location. ([elypso.de](https://www.elypso.de/startseite/))

Gastronomically, elypso is also broadly positioned. In the swimming world, the house promotes a relaxed holiday atmosphere and a selection of salads, burgers, pizza, and pasta; at the pool bar, there are cocktails, sparkling wine, and cool drinks directly in the warm wellness lagoon. In the outdoor pool, the outdoor pool café and kiosk present themselves with a Bavarian beer garden atmosphere, ice cream on a stick, and fries in the open air. Additionally, outside of holiday periods, there is a weekly changing daily menu and further takeaway food at the panorama café. For those seeking food, tickets, and daily schedules, this is important because a stay can be planned much longer and more relaxed. Thus, elypso functions not only as a swimming and sauna location but as a complete leisure destination with catering, quality of stay, and many small components that make a visit uncomplicated. I visited Elypso on a Tuesday afternoon and had a great experience. It's a fantastic place to learn swimming, with clean water and a relaxing atmosphere. The sauna and hot bath were especially enjoyable, and the changing rooms were clean and comfortable. I also liked the watermark area; the tubes made it even more fun. #elypso #deggendorf #platting #thd

I entered fast but at the exit I waited like 20 minutes with 2 kids (the smaller kid was crying because we were leaving the place and I had to hold him the entire time in my hands). One of the machines was broken and there was only one guy, weak, small, with no experience and slow at working. While 20-30 people waited to pay at the exit. It's a great place and nice weather, but I don't recommend anyone to buy anything from there if you want to leave in peace. Good place but low staff.

The pools are nice, but there are a lot of people in winter season. My bad review goes to the staff, specifically one girl/woman (with short blond bob hair) working in a bar where the hot pool is. I was taking a picture of my mom and dad and she approached me and started yelling at me that it's not allowed, that I need to delete pictures, yelling the whole time. I told her she could just nicely explain without that tone of voice, to lower it down, but she continued and looked at my phone to delete. I of course deleted everything, but I felt terrible because I didn't know what I did wrong. She was very rude. So 1 star for customer service, people here don't know what that is. For the pool, 3/4 stars.

We had a great time here and spent almost all day. It was just €8 for a family ticket for the outside part of the park, which is amazing value. The whole park is very clean and well maintained. The pool is big, so even when busy there's enough space. 2 very good water slides and a special pool for younger children. If the weather's good, there's no better place to come.

Great choice of saunas, inside and outside. Unless it is a very busy hour, it is easy to find a space to relax. Haven't tried the food, but free drinking water is much appreciated. Bring your own sheets and towels.
