A really beautiful place! The country hotel is a true estate that you hardly find these days, especially since the property is super well-maintained and in excellent condition. The breakfast was very plentiful and varied, especially the atmosphere of the breakfast room was very cozy, and you felt almost a bit like you were in another time in the best sense. The obviously family-run hotel is truly worth a visit.

The restaurant is beautiful from the outside and inside. Upon entering, we are greeted by a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Despite having a reservation, we are allowed to choose our table (there are four of us, out with friends) and take the only table for 4 in the restaurant. It is carelessly crammed into the corner. A bit surprised, we see the menu, which is quite limited (the selection online is much larger). But each of us finds something. The ordered dishes are excellent. The service is eager, somewhat artificial (language barrier), and wants to make it perfect. But there's still a lot of room for improvement. Very unfortunate. Conclusion: Food top, service and guest care flop!

Very beautiful and well-maintained facility with plenty of space to relax. The service is top-notch and the hosts are incredibly warm and attentive. The rooms are lovingly furnished and provide everything you need. Especially practical: We could charge our electric car right on site – a great service! The kitchen is excellent, the breakfast small but very fine, with freshly prepared egg dishes on request. We felt completely comfortable and might come back again in the summer. Many thanks to the Hutter family for the wonderful hospitality! 🙂

Very beautiful estate with a lot of atmosphere! I spent a night on the way back from a trip at Gut Altholz and felt very comfortable. The property is well-kept and tastefully laid out and has a really nice atmosphere. You can tell it’s privately owned and run individually. For me, it was a breath of fresh air after many nights in "chain hotels" where I often stay for work. The rooms are large and beautifully designed and absolutely quiet. Breakfast and dinner were also really good. From my perspective, a very (!) good price-performance ratio!

After many years, we were here again and are totally thrilled. Our appetizers, pumpkin soup and tartare were a dream. The main course: pike-perch and onion roast were cooked to perfection and a true delight. The dessert was no less impressive! The red wine was at the perfect temperature and we enjoyed it very much. The service was super nice, attentive, and quick. Our room and bathroom were amazing. Large, very clean, and tastefully furnished, just as you would imagine in a manor house. The large double doors offer a great view of the park. A large balcony rounds everything off perfectly. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Many fresh fruit products were offered. Mrs. Hutter and her husband took great care of us. Many heartfelt thanks for everything. We will definitely come back.
