Bavarian Advent Evening in Deggendorf
On November 26, 2026, Deggendorf invites you to a special musical Advent evening. Under the title “Bavarian Christmas”, Monika Drasch, Martin Danes, Prof. Klaus Wolf, and Alexandra Herzinger will present a concert featuring Bavarian Christmas songs, stories, and traditional folk music. The event starts at 7:30 PM.
The focus is on a festive atmosphere that combines musical tradition and narrative elements. The performers present a program that brings together regional sounds and well-known traditional Christmas songs. The music is complemented by stories that provide content and set the mood for the Advent season.
Music, Stories, and Bavarian Tradition
The event is aimed at everyone who wishes to experience a festive evening with Bavarian folk music and Christmas songs. Monika Drasch, Martin Danes, Prof. Klaus Wolf, and Alexandra Herzinger together offer a diverse program where the special connection between music and spoken word is at the forefront. The event title also mentions the zither as part of the musical framework.
“Bavarian Christmas” thus provides an opportunity to culturally and reflectively open the Advent season in Deggendorf. Instead of an exclusively modern Christmas program, the audience can expect a presentation with regional references, traditional melodies, and stories. The date is suitable for visitors who appreciate folk music or wish to start the pre-Christmas season with an evening concert.
