I AM I: Creative time for curious children in Deggendorf

Colors, shapes, and imagination are the focus of the creative workshop I AM I on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at the Deggendorf City Library. Children and teenagers between the ages of seven and 14 will have a protected space where they can freely express themselves and make their own ideas visible.

Be creative without performance pressure

Here, the perfect result does not matter, but rather personal expression. Under the guidance of Claudia Salmansberger, participants will paint, create, glue, and experiment. From a blank sheet of paper, a unique work of art will gradually emerge – colorful, wild, playful, or very personal.

Colors awaken imagination and self-confidence

The workshop combines creative design with an important learning experience: children will discover that their ideas are valuable. This strengthens self-confidence, independence, and the joy of discovery. The open atmosphere supports age-appropriate development and allows room for curiosity, feelings, and individual forms of expression.

A family experience with sustainable learning fun

While experimenting with colors, shapes, and materials, children's laughter, wonder, and shared successes will arise. The child-friendly approach is also suitable for participants without special prior knowledge. Each child may find their own creative path and experience: I am me.

Conclusion: Own ideas become visible works of art

The I AM I creative workshop promises an inspiring afternoon full of imagination, learning fun, and personal development. Families who want to give their children a creative break with educational value will find a special family experience at the Deggendorf City Library.
