Film Music in Candlelight in Deggendorf
On December 10, 2026, the Kapuzinerstadl in Deggendorf will become a festive setting for a musical winter fairy tale. Under the title Winter Fairy Tale in Candlelight: Cinderella, the well-known film music from “Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella” will be performed in the warm glow of numerous candles.
The Nymphenburg String Soloists will present the concert along with a narrator. This way, the evening combines the special acoustic effect of a string ensemble with a narrative accompaniment. The concert is aimed at the whole family and invites everyone to experience the beloved fairy tale world in a festive, wintry atmosphere.
A Musical Evening for the Whole Family
The music from “Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella” is closely connected to the wintry mood of the film. In the Kapuzinerstadl, the candlelight provides a particularly ceremonial setting. The combination of live music and narration makes the event an experience for different generations.
Those who know the fairy tale can look forward to the familiar musical motifs. For families, the concert offers an opportunity to experience culture together and to get into the contemplative season. For everyone who appreciates classical string sounds and fairy tale stories, the evening promises a special concert visit.
